Individual Resellers / Web Designers / Consultants
Promote our service and earn 20% or more of your referred customers ongoing hosting fees forever (as long as you continue to host at least 1 website of your own, and they also). Most of our consultants also earn even more by directly billing their customers for training, web design, marketing and IT consultancy services. You don't need to send your CV or request our approval, just follow these instructions below.
Discounts
We will offer 20% discount on all additional websites you purchase from us. The first website with the most expensive hosting plan, must be paid in full. All other sites are available for discounting. For customers with large number of sites, and low administration requirements, we may provide additional discounts.
How to get started
Just sign up for a 30 day free trial, and become familiar with our service. It's always a good idea to learn a product before you market it. When you create a new website for a customer or friend:
- Login as yourself
- Click the "Resellers" link on the bottom left menu once you have logged in.
- Click the "Create A New Website" button.
- Continue as normal until the contact details page, then enter your customers email address and proceed as normal.
- You will be able to manage their account on their behalf via the resellers link while their website is under construction. You can continue to manage it later on if you set yourself up as an administrator in the security section of their website.
Whenever a customer pays their hosting fees, you will recieve 20% rebate of their payment. We also have banners and HTML code segments that you can cut and paste onto your own website, so that you can earn commissions from the comfort of home.
Conditions:
- You will get a 20% rebate on the hosting fee paid by any of your referrals.
- Rebates are calculated at the same date the referred customer is invoiced.
- Rebates will be reversed if the referred customer does not pay their invoice.
- You must be paying for hosting for at least 1 website in order to receive the rebate.
- You will only get commission on the first website the referred customer has. That customer will be entitled to a commission of their own on any additional websites they host.
- You may signup for referrals prior to having a live website of your own. Once you have 5 referred customers, you will have enough referrals to cover the hosting of your own website, and thus you can then go live without paying for hosting. You are only entitled to actual rebates on your account once your site is live. If your referred customers subqeuently cancel their hosting, then you will need to make up the difference with a cash payment on your hosting account. If your payment is not received by the due date, your hosting will be temporarily suspended until you either have referrred 5 new customers or paid the difference.
- Rebates may only be used for website hosting and design services from Web Widgets. No cash payment will be made. For proactive resellers we can arrange for distribution of commissions if suitable taxation and invoicing criteria are met.

ISP / Hosting Providers
Larger organisations usually require their own installation of our software. We can rebrand our software including the logos, colours and styles of the management interface. We can integrate with your existing accounting system or other customer management software. The software is Java based and runs best on Linux/Tomcat/Apache/PostgreSQL. Annual licence fees or profit sharing agreements are possible. We can provide hosting, server management and training. Setup fees may apply. Contact franchise@web-widgets.net for more information.
Franchises
We can offer exclusive contracts to resellers who want to promote Web Widgets in their own country. All enquiries to our website will be directed to our Franchisee's directly for management. Franchisees can bill the customers directly. Franchisees will be required to meet certain performance quotas and pay an annual franchisee fee to secure their exclusivity.
